The 2022/2023 school year will be my second year in the St. Francis school district. I am extremely excited to be a part of the St. Francis community. I will be teaching Spanish I & Spanish 3 at St. Francis High School and Spanish 1 at Deer Creek Middle School. Previously, I taught for 9 years in Franklin, WI and have had teaching experiences in Whitewater, Mukwonago, New Berlin, and Wauwatosa.
My goal is to ensure that my students experience how engaging and fulfilling learning a foreign language can be. In my classroom students will work toward Spanish fluency through speaking, reading, writing, and listening in the target language. Students will also learn about other cultures and make connections and comparisons between Spanish cultures and their own culture.
I am originally from Middleton, Wisconsin. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I lived in and studied Spanish at the Universitas-Castellae in Valladolid, Spain.
I have coached Lacrosse in Mukwonago and Franklin, I have played lacrosse for 20 years!
I am an avid Atletico de Madrid S.A.D. Fan. They are a soccer club based in Madrid, Spain. Soccer is an important component of the Spanish culture and a phenomenal way to keep up with your Spanish.
