Review: This first installment of the uglies series is probably one of my favorite books (along with the other three). The way Westerfield manages to so vividly create a whole world and make it see so natural and real is amazing. The book does a really great job in dealing with a image-obsessed society and the ethics of altering your body’s appearance while simultaneously narrating with his relatable characters.
