Plot overview: This book is basically key moments of the Divergent series from Four's point of view as well as some more background on his own initiation and experience at Dauntless.

Critique: I loved getting some more background information on Four since it helped me understand the decisions he makes in Divergent better.

Audience Appeal: If you like dystopian novels and especially Divergent, definitely give it a try.

I went into this book thinking it would not be as good as the previous books and it lived up to Divergent’s terrific reputation. Veronica Roth supplied her readers with a well written story about Four. I really like your review as well.
