Title and Author of the Book: Bodily Harm by Maragaret Atwood

Plot Overview: The story focuses on Renie Wilford, a journalist who writes about superficial aspects of life. When her life takes a turn for the worse, she flies to the Caribbean to write a little travel piece. However, the area Rennie chose to travel to in the Caribbean was rife with violence and corruption. The story details her experiences and struggles dealing with this new environment.

Critique: This book was full of countless surprises that seemed almost casually thrown into the story. I loved how the suspense kept building up as the novel progressed.

Audience Appeal: I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys dystopian novels.
