I lived off campus so I was a “commuter.” I would often cut through Caritas Christi via Mt. Thor Road because I knew I’d have to park in the upper lot anyway, because parking real estate is a premium at Seton Hill. Always camera in hand, I shot this scene on a precarious snowy wintery day on my way into school for my Black and White photography class.
After receiving my Associate’s Degree in Science in Art from the Community College of Allegheny County and completing an internship through the Walt Disney World College Program, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Seton Hill College in 2002. My focus was art and technology with particular attention to photography. I was one of only two Bachelor of Fine Arts majors that year. The other was my good friend Dimpho Tumisang. This would also be the last class of Seton Hill College, as the school had just earned university status.
