4. For unlocked devices you already have, you'll need to insert your new SIM into your device and follow the same activation process.

1. Go to the Activate AT&T Wireless Device page.

2. Provide the device's wireless number and billing or shipping zip code.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your device.

To activate an AT&T prepaid device online:

1. Go to the Activate AT&T Prepaid Device page.

2. Enter your 20 digit device SIM number here.

3. Enter your zip code.

4. If you want to use your device in different locations, choose the zip code where you'll use it most.

5. If you've thrown away the AT&T prepaid package, you can find the SIM and IMEI numbers on the small card under the battery cover. Before removing the battery, make sure to turn off your device.

Steps to activate AT&T:

1. If you purchased your phone online, you'll need to activate your new phone and SIM card before you can use it.

2. Once you've activated your device, log in to your myAT&T account. Where you can view information like billing, features, upgrade options and much more!

3. Insert the SIM card, and visit att.com/activate to activate your device.

4. For AT&T wireless devices, select Activate your device.

5. Enter the required information and select Continue
