February 2025
Brrrrr....What a cold start to 2025! Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we’ve navigated the frigid temperatures and snowy weather this winter. We’re hopeful that warmer days are on the way, allowing us to get back on track with our school schedule. February is Heart Health Month, so we encourage everyone to take a moment to focus on taking care of your body, both physically and mentally. Also a reminder that midterms will take place on February 7, so please review your child's progress and set goals to finish the grading period strong. As always, please contact us by phone at 765-544-3331 or email bgarrison@ses.k12.in.us with questions or concerns. We look forward to a productive and healthy month ahead!
~Mrs. Garrison

February is American Heart Month. To help other kids with special hearts while having fun and learning how to keep their own hearts healthy, WES is participating in the Kids Heart Challenge. You can sign up online using the link. Students will also be participating in jumping rope and cardio drumming in PE class throughout the campaign. Thank you for your support and donations. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Corlett at ecorlett@ses.k12.in.us.
WES will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week the week of February 17-21. We encourage students to be kind by smiling, giving compliments, making conversation, and doing good deeds for others. Also we will celebrate with spirit week. See the theme for each day. We can't wait to let kindness ripple throughout our building and show our school spirt!
