2025 is Coach Zoe Kersey's fourth year as Sequoyah Eagle's Volleyball Head Coach.
In the 2024 season, the Eagles maintained a top 16 ranking and advanced to the Championship bracket in every varsity tournament, finishing with a 17-13 record and three 3rd place tournament finishes. Ady Johnson reached a major milestone with 1,000 career kills and was selected to play in the 2025 All-State game. The junior high program also saw strong success, with the 7th grade team earning 2nd at the OKU Tournament, and the 8th grade team finishing 2nd at both the OKU and Catoosa Tournaments.
In 2023 season, Sequoyah had their first 20 win season since before 2018. The Eagles finished with a runner-up finish at the Oologah Varsity Tournament and a consolation championship at the Wesleyan Christian School Varsity Tournament. The team finished ranked in the top 16, beat eight top 16 teams, and earned 3rd in their conference. The 2023 team finished the season with a 20-8 record and earned 2nd at regionals at #11 in class 4A. One player signed to play collegiate volleyball.
With the first match of 2022, Kersey accumulated her 100th win. The 2022 team finished the season with a 16-6 record and earned 2nd at regionals at #11 in class 3A.

In just two years, the team had a 55-14 record, two Regional Championships, two All-State selections, three tournament championships, nine All-Tournament selections, three Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference (COAC) First Team selections, three COAC Second Team selections, 2018 All-Area Co-Players of the Year.
