Your 11th grader took part in the CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) tests in ELA (English Language Arts/Literacy) and Mathematics.
These tests are based on California’s academic standards, which include the ability to write clearly, think critically, and solve problems — the very skills needed for success in college and a career. Your child’s report includes an overall score for each subject and information about how well your child did in different areas.

SUHSD participates in the State Seal of Biliteracy program, which is a recognition from the State Superintendent of Public Instruction of graduating high school students who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English. The Student Score Report also includes a status report for the Early Assessment Program (EAP), which is used by the California State University and participating California Community Colleges.
