Patient Cases
Patient Cases are the connection between you as the provider and your patient.
Typically, cases are created through the patient booking experience:
Patient registers for their account on our patient portal
Patient selects their provider
Case is created between provider and patient
There is an option to manually add cases when needed (i.e. transfer cases, IT issues, etc.) by clicking "Add Case".
Case Status
It is your responsibility to maintain your current caseload and mark your clients as active, inactive, or discharged.
Active -- current patient
Inactive -- no longer your current patient, but patient is still seeing another provider at Sensible Care
Discharged -- no longer a patient at Sensible Care
To change the case status:
Click on "Cases" > select the case you would like to change the status of > click the "Status" dropdown > select appropriate status
When Changing Case Status to Inactive or Discharged
When you mark a client as inactive or discharged, you will be prompted to select a "Reason" from a drop down menu.
Please select the best that applies.
When you go to a patient record, you will be able to see all patient cases and the care team.
