Bi-Weekly Appointments
In order to request that a Client be seen on a bi-weekly basis, the following conditions are recommended:
The client must have been actively engaged in therapy for a minimum of three months (if bi-weekly sessions are only being offered for three sessions, you do not need to send a ticket or change treatment plans, please just document this in your notes)
Treatment plan has been completed and goals met
Bi-weekly appointments are typically reserved for clients in the maintenance phase of treatment. It is recommended that clients in the maintenance phase will have up to three bi-weekly sessions, after which they will resume weekly sessions or discontinue treatment. Clients seeking bi-weekly appointments for financial reasons at the start are referred to community agencies offering sliding scales.
For bi-weekly appointment consultation and approval, please utilize the following workflow:

Please keep in mind utilization is counted weekly and SC 2.0 auto populates weekly, so you will need to keep you calendar up to date
Update Treatment Plan to include plan for bi-weekly sessions
Document plan and reasoning in your notes the duration of bi-weekly and when the next session is planned
