Zoom
Zoom is the application used to conduct tele-health sessions and to make phone calls from Sensible Care's phone number. We do not allow providers to use personal devices to contact clients.
If you’re experienced with Zoom that’s great! Please make sure to review the guide below anyways so that we are all using Zoom the same way, and our clients have a seamless experience across providers.

Zoom Phone How-To
Please take a few minutes to review the link below which details how to set up and use Zoom phone:
Sometimes clients will have poor WiFi connection. Oftentimes you will notice clients join their appointments when they are not at home and will usually have adequate phone connection.
In these cases, you can keep the video going through Zoom and use the Zoom phone feature to call them.
When conducting tele-health sessions, video etiquette is essential to an effective session which requires specific knowledge and skills that may be unfamiliar to practitioners who only have provided face-to-face treatment. Being on camera may make providers and/or patients feel uncertain and uncomfortable seeing themselves in a picture-in-picture display. A patient will rely on the clinician to know how to use the equipment and may also need guidance about video etiquette. Here are a few suggestions on proper video etiquette:
Ensure your Sensible Care device works correctly with the camera, speakers, and microphone enabled. You will test this during orientation.
Use a direct, wired connection rather than Wi-Fi.
Ensure proper lighting and camera placement for clear and direct eye contact with your patient.
Maintain a clean and neat appearance.
Allow sufficient time to receive and express information without overlap or interruption if the visual or audio transmission lags.
Use an appropriate virtual background.
Mute yourself when you are not speaking to minimize background noise.
Actively participate and pay attention during the session.
Use the screen-sharing function to share various resources you download before the session.
