Hello Parent/Guardians,

We have missed your kids and hope to see them back at school soon! At this moment our return to school date is Monday, April 6th. We realize that is a lot of time at home and therefore we would like to offer some suggestions of how you may divide up that time. We also would like to share some resources that you could use to help enrich your child’s learning. By no means are any of these required and we do not want you to feel overwhelmed, just giving opportunities and suggestions. We have divided the time into three categories with some suggestions for each one.

ACADEMIC TIME (2 hours daily divided up throughout the day):

  • Read

  • iReady (See "Online Resources" Tab)

  • Math facts

  • Daily writing prompts

  • See individual teacher posts

MOVEMENT TIME (1.5 hours):

  • Outside

  • Just Dance

  • Go Noodle (See "Online Resources" Tab)

  • Yoga

  • Walk

  • Ride bikes

ENRICHMENT (2 hours):

  • Board games

  • Puzzles

  • Word search

  • Cooking

  • Craft time

  • Legos

  • Drawing

Again, just ideas as we are all in a difficult situation. Thank you for your patience as we work together through this. I am very thankful to be a part of such a wonderful school and community!
