Year 7 students will cover aspects from number, algebra, handling data and geometry. In Mathematics, you will find that there is an emphasis on developing mental arithmetic skills and thinking about mathematical problems.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in fun and engaging activities and events both in school and on a national level. These include UKMT maths challenge, NSPCC number Day and First Lego league. All activities will give you the chance to apply your mathematical knowledge in real life contexts.
