Hand in your homework book every Tuesday. Take it home again on Thursday. 

Year 1 Homework expectations: 

Reading: You child must read to you every day. Please record this in their reading record. Please ensure your child brings their reading record to school every Friday. We will check them and calculate our reading score for the week. 

Spellings: Our weekly spelling test will take place every Wednesday. 

English & maths homework: Each week one will be talk homework, one will need to be recorded in their homework book. Your child can write straight into their homework books. If you do print the homework, please ensure it is trimmed down and stuck in neatly. 

Word of the Week: Can be completed as talk homework, but if your child is able please complete in their homework books.
