Founder and Servant Leader
Hello, my name is Elvia and I look forward to meeting with you. I am inspired by the interconnection between spirit, soul and body. In my professional and own personal journey, I continue to learn that no one is immune to the human experience and there is actual wholeness in the process of healing. I find that I am most connected and creative when I center myself in prayer and nature. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, traveling, hiking and reading.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), Internal Family Systems Therapist (IFS IFIO & Somatic IFS, Level 2) and a Precision Nutrition Coach (PN1). I incorporate mindfulness, somatic, and evidence-based modalities that enables an integrative and holistic approach that helps guide others back to themselves and their bodies. I utilize trauma-informed, body centered approaches, and experiential tools: such as sand tray, puppets, holistic medicine and movement equipment (modified for individual needs).
My professional experience and trauma-informed training has been a guide for me to be sensitive to my client's situations and experiences. My hope is to promote healing, transformation and be of impact to faith-based community leaders and counselors who are needing a supportive and safe environment to help with burn-out, anxiousness, depression, grief, church hurt, carry guilt and/or needing guidance with restoring relationships.

INVESTMENT
My standard sessions are 50 minutes ($165 intake/$150 follow-up) and I also offer 75 minute sessions ($200); private pay only. I am not in network with any health insurance companies, but am happy to provide a superbill to clients who have out-of-network benefits. In this case, clients pay me directly and then submit the receipt to their health insurance for reimbursement. You can call your insurance network to ask about your outpatient mental health benefits with an out-of-network provider.
Finding the right fit for your counseling experience is important. Schedule a free consult with me so we can talk more about what brings you to counseling. A consultation can help answer your questions about your next steps to improve your mental health. If I can't help let's work together in finding the right counselor for you. It is okay to be selective it is your journey after all.
