In this chapter, the authors reached out to all chapter contributors to check in on how they were doing in their respective schools, cities, states, and countries and whether or not any form of collaboration and instruction was continuing in support of multilingual learners during the COVID-19 crisis. They were deeply concerned about how the educators featured in this book were able to manage their daily responsibilities of teaching, supporting their students remotely, and adjusting to the uncertainties of ever-changing guidelines and instructional delivery modes. In this final chapter, Kristina, Andrea, and Maria wanted to uncover the experiences the contributing authors had with teaching remotely, how their collaboration and instruction was supported and sustained through weeks and months of isolation, and if there was any continuity to previously established partnerships and successful practices. They also wanted to investigate whether or not there were any new opportunities emerging to collaboratively support each other’s work as well as students’ learning. Moreover, they wondered if teacher collaboration had actually become one of the most important coping mechanisms during the pandemic. The chapter combines the voices all contributing authors into a powerful closure to the book.
