Professional development is a vital component of the Seekonk Public Schools’ commitment to fostering excellence in teaching and learning. By providing high-quality, ongoing learning opportunities, we ensure that educators remain current with research-based practices, innovative instructional strategies, and evolving curriculum standards. These experiences empower teachers to refine their craft, address diverse student needs, and create engaging, equitable learning environments. Ultimately, investing in professional growth not only enhances teacher effectiveness but also strengthens student outcomes, building a culture of continuous improvement that benefits the entire school community.
Seekonk Public Schools is one of the many school districts in Massachusetts affiliated with the Massachusetts Partnership for Youth. All Seekonk staff members have membership access to MPYs webinars, conferences and other professional development opportunities.
