The scene above describes the phenomenon of the creation of coziness and comfort through isolation in the vast sea while experiencing the constant buoyancy and uncertainty of the sea waves. The comfort is created through body positioning amidst the unfamiliar environment which produces a warm feeling. The resulting is a juxtaposition of warm and cold temperatures that are getting generated.
The subtle warmth created by light changes the temperature and mood of the space in the room. The way it affects each human body differently was the phenomenon.
Bringing both the phenomenon together, where we were trying to explore the possibilities of creating zones of warmth in a cold environment. The drawings attempted to express the same.
In order to achieve this, working with the principles of radiation, convection and greenhouse effect was decided.
The spherical form allowed for less surface area exposure and more heat gain.
