We were introduced to the book THE SELECT NONSENSE OF SUKUMAR RAY in which all of us individually chose a poem that resonated with us. As we tried to understand how sukumar created the characters.My poem was the miracle man, The poem had a sense of parody, exaggerating the obvious, such as a man laughing when he smiles or breaking down into tears when he cries. So my own response to the poem became an anchoring point for me to make ears which goes with my body and became an extension of my body itself.after finishing props we started our rehearsals where my character was cry baby who cries all the time . also what we learnd is materiality.how to work with many many kinds of material while exploring the form..
