Each PLC group will continuously collaborate by:
- Focusing on all modes of communication
- Adapting and incorporating “Can Do” statements/functional goals according to the ACTFL World Language guidelines
Continue developing and implementing instructional strategies that develop cultural understanding and comparisons.
Explore and discuss new teaching materials to supplement and enrich current World Language resources and identify long-term needs for instructional resources.
Teachers will be able to share best practices for communicating in the target language, incorporating and meeting the “Can Do” objectives, and developing different assessment tools for their evaluation.
Identify the essential skills students should be able to do at the end of the course including grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, writing, and reading to be successful in the next level.
