Mr. Carson's 7th and 8th Grade History Website

Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Mr. Carson and I am the current long term substitute at Diegueno Middle School during Mrs. Riese's absence. The following website will be updated daily to inform both parents and students activities that were accomplished in class that day as well as homework for students if applicable. All of Mrs. Riese's classroom procedures and expectations will remain in place during my time at Diegueno Middle School. 1st Semester Announcements:

• 10/27/2019: All 7th Grade World History grades are updated in Aries with unit packets and unit exam scores. Makeup exams will be conducted in class this upcoming week for all absent students.
• 10/31/2019: All grades will updated on Aries for all classes and submitted for progress report card grades on 11/1/2019.
• 11/1/2019: All progress report grades will be finalized today through Aries.
• 11/1/2019: *Update: All grades are now able to be viewed by both students and parents. Finalized report card grades will be submitted on Tuesday (11/5) instead of today.
• 11/5/2019: *Update: All grades have been officially submitted for progress report cards.
• 12/2/2019: 7th Grade Middle East Exams will be conducted on 12/3-12/4 during block periods.
• 12/5/2019: All grades for 7th grade World History have been updated with Middle East exams on Aries.
• 12/13/2019: All grades for 8th grade US History have been updated on Aries with American Revolution Unit Exam.
• 12/20/2019: All grades updated in Aries for 7th grade World History with Africa Unit Exam.
• 1/6/2020: Final grades submitted for all classes on 1/24/2020 for first semester. Check with Mr. Carson if any grades in Aries are missing or incorrectly entered.
• 2/5/2020: All tests have been completed for both 7th and 8th grade classes. Grades will be uploaded to Aries by the end of the week.
