Thank you for an amazing year!
Senior Splash-out is in full swing; dozens of seniors are already out, but that still leaves many left.
Splash-out, an LCC Senior tradition, is a water gun game where seniors are assigned to each other (except on purge days) and have to get their assigned target out with water. A water floatie can save you most days; the game can be played with a partner.
As a fellow senior, here are my tips and tricks to stay safe during the Senior Splash-out game!
1) ALWAYS wear your floaty:
Just because you are with trusted friends or going out for a quick grocery pick-up does NOT mean you are safe. People underestimate the lengths friends (and enemies) will go to in order to get you out. It may feel silly to always wear a floaty, but if you want any chance at winning, always keep it on!
2) Stay updated on Instagram!:
The senior splashout account keeps you updated on who is out and what the rules are (boundaries, purge days, etc...). You are supposed to know who is out and what item you need for purge days. Put on post notifications so you are always up-to-date on the competition!
3) Keep it secret:
Many people tell their close friends who they have and when they plan to get them out. DON'T DO THIS! Even the closest of friends can be tempted to tell others about your information. Keep your plan to you are your partner.
4) Plan ahead:
Some people wait for HOURS outside of their target's house in order to get them out. I'm not telling you to wait hours; that is a little excessive, but plan ahead! Get their sports schedules online, check their Snap Map, and if you're a good actor, maybe even befriend them and get the info yourself; but don't get too cocky!
Best of luck to all the senors participating in Senior Splash-out! Keep your eye on the prize and be smart!
