Thank you for an amazing year!
Places I've Been:
1. Riviera Maya, Mexico
Super kind locals, great food, and beautiful views, I've been there so many times that it is like a second home, highly recommend it.
2. Arenal, Costa Rica
Some of the kindest people I've ever met, Arenal is a tropical oasis that has great food, accommodations, and people.
3. Munich, German
Great during the Summer and Winter (especially during Christmas time), Munich is a bustling city that has plenty of shopping and food. Rich with history and tradition, I would love to go back once more.
4. Prague, Czech Republic
There is something for everyone in Prague. Relaxing spas and boat rides, or bustling bars and restaurants, the old city of Prague stays strong in the current day.
5. Rome, Italy
Probably my favorite city ever, there is so much to do and learn in Rome. Shopping, history tours, exquisite food, kind people, and beautiful views, I don't think I can come up with something I don't love about Rome. An absolute must for travel.
6. Positano, Italy
A very popular tourist destination, and for a good reason, Positano is like no other. Built on the side of a cliff on the Amalfi Coast, it has some of the most beautiful views and the kindest locals.
7. Lake Como, Italy
My favorite lake in the world, Lake Como has incomparable beauty and lots to explore. With many small towns on the lake, you can take a boat ferry to all the different locations.
8. Madrid, Spain
With amazing food (especially tapas), friendly locals, and great shopping, Madrid is one of your typical European cities that is a must-travel for a Spanish feel.
9. London, England
I went to London with some low expectations: the history of bad food, rude locals, and bad weather was in my mind when arriving, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. I found some great bites, everyone I met was warm and friendly, and the weather was perfect during Christmastime. I would recommend going during the fall or winter, but it was a very pleasant city with much to do.
10. Paris, France
I have to admit, although I feel Paris is overrated, It is still an amazing city. The locals weren't the nicest, but the food was undeniably amazing, and the shopping/fashion was also amazing. I would still recommend it.
11. Avignon, France
Right in the heart of France, Avignon is a small walled city that has a rich history and friendly locals. Because it is so small, I wouldn't stay there for too long, but in the short time I was there, I found a lot to do there and in the surrounding areas.
10 Places Want to Go:
1.Tokyo, Japan
2.Sydney, Australia
3.Santorini, Greece
4.Bangkok, Thailand
5.Chichi, Thailand
6.Split, Croatia
7.Istanbul, Turkey
8.Marekesh, Morocco
9.Cairo, Egypt
10.New Orleans, Louisiana
10 Places I Would Never Go Back To:
1. Barcelona, Spain
Definitely a college-aged party city, Barcelona is not the place to go with family. Along with this, the city was very dirty and not very well maintained, the locals weren't very friendly in my experience either.
2. Brussels, Belgium
Probably the dirtiest city I have ever been to, Brussels contained a large array of angry drunks and bad smells. While the surrounding small towns were very quant and fun, I did not like the city of Brussels itself.
3. Monte Carlo, Monaco
So small and expensive that there are barely any affordable options other than to walk around and look at luxury storefronts. We spent less than an hour there and then left, definitely not for the younger crowd.
4. San Francisco, California
I have been going to San Francisco since I was a little kid and used to love it. But over the years, the city has decayed and become very unenjoyable. The locals are still very nice, but the city is just so dirty and dangerous that there isn't much you can do.
5. Outer Banks, North Carolina
One of the most touristy places I have gone to, there are too many tourist shops to handle, and the food was below average. Not worth going back to.
6. Tijuana, Mexico
Super dangerous and not a lot of good shopping, the only thing I liked about Tijuana was its food, which was very good. Other than that, I wouldn't consider it.
7. Florida… in general
If you haven't searched up your "Flordia Man" for your birthdate, then you are missing out. Florida is just as weird as people say it is, personally, not a big fan.
8. Lake Norman, North Carolina
I love lakes, but this one was just gross. A popular lake to travel to on the East Coast, I don't really see why it has such a good reputation. The water was too gross to swim in and the food by or around the lake was terrible.
9. Baltimore, Maryland
Similar to San Francisco, I grew up going to Baltimore, but it has decayed over the years. It has heavily grown in crime rates, and the food isn't as good as it used to be.
10. Phoenix, Arizona
Phoenix is the only part of Arizona that I have been to, and I wasn't one for it. It was just your typical city, but unbearably HOT. I hate heat, therefore I dislike Phoenix.
