Absences & Sick Days

At the Springdale School District, we use a personnel absence reporting system called Frontline (formerly AESOP). Frontline is a system online that maintains the absences for each contracted employee at the Springdale School District. It is the responsibility of each employee to enter and manage their own absences. The secretary at each school or department, along with the administrators and supervisors, can use Frontline for a tracking tool of absences and reason for absences. This needs to be kept up daily.

Each employee is responsible for putting in their own absences into Frontline .

There are two different methods for doing this. An employee may:

  1. Log on to Frontline: https://app.frontlineeducation.com/, use their ID, which is the ten digit telephone number they gave the business office when they were hired, and their PIN, is either the last four digits of their social security number or their zip code. If you are unsure which PIN number is yours, you can contact the business office. Then they can create, delete or change an absence. It is extremely important to answer all questions correctly. If you are taking a personal day, it needs to be put in Frontline as a personal day. If you need a substitute teacher in your room, then the sub will pick up the job from this program.
  2. Call into Frontline: The number is 1-800-942-3767. You will need to enter your ID number and PIN number described in Number 1. Please make sure you answer all questions correctly and receive a confirmation number. Again, if you need a sub, they will be able to pick up the job from this program.
