Our world is continuously changing creating daunting challenges for future generations to overcome. We want Har-Ber graduates to be capable leaders with expansive understandings of public life, honed skills of critical thinking, and the abilities to collaborate with diverse groups to solve problems and create change.

Service Learning enables students to apply knowledge and skills while benefiting others and serving the public good. This educational opportunity helps foster the necessary skills for future success and build character.

Students will have the opportunity to engage in service projects which will enhance student learning and community development through the advisory program at Har-Ber High.

Service Learning is centered around 3 key components:

1. Preparation: What does my community need?

2. Action: What can I do to meet this need?

3. Reflection: Was I successful in meeting this need?
