Below are ideas to help you and your family think about different chunks of your day to help balance the different needs of your family as we navigate this change to at-home learning.
Please consider supporting your children with this BIG transition by:
Setting normal bed times and yes, sleeping in is okay! Rest is good for our immune systems!
Limit school work to 1-2 hours per school day.
Find a time during the day to engage in suggested daily activities, if able. Activities can be incorporated throughout an entire day too!
Have your children set up their own schedules to practice those self-directed learning skills that we strive for at LSLC!
Get outdoors! Use this time to get active and to observe the changing of the seasons.
Encourage your children to stay in contact with their classmates and teachers. Staying socially connected to others is really important for our mental and physical well-being.
