¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!

My name is Mrs. Wych and I am the Spanish teacher at Westchester Middle School! My own experience with Spanish started as a child and continued through college at Northern University. I have also had the opportunity to explore the language and culture through study abroad experiences and personal travel. I am so excited for this school year and to teach a language that is dear to my heart.

As a teacher I want my students to not be afraid to say the wrong answer and to feel comfortable in my classroom. I want to encourage different types of learning and have my students in the driver’s seat. My mission as a teacher is to make sure each student is filled with motivation to learn and grow not just as students, but as people.
