About Mrs. Terry

Hello! My name is Mrs. Terry and I am so excited to be your music teacher this year!! I studied at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Go Cards!! I am a classically trained vocalist as well as an experience instrumentalist. I have been involved in band and choir since I was in 5th grade and love to share my enjoyment of the arts with others. 

I have a super cute dog named Vinnie. I am recently married, so you may also know me as Ms. Durst. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, playing my Nintendo switch, and spending time with my family. You may see me at theatre shows and any type of live music. 

I have been involved in music since I was very young and have fallen in love with teaching music and learning more about myself through it! Music is such an aesthetic experience that is not able to occur with any other medium, and I feel so lucky to be able to give those experiences to my students!

I look forward to teaching you this year and creating beautiful music together!
