Mr. Scott Howes grew up in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. After graduating from University of Alberta in 1998 he began his first teaching assignment at the YMCA Career High. Scott then began teaching at Medicine Hat High School in 2001. Scott's teaching assignments included Math, Physical Education, and Foods. Scott then progressed to become a Vice-Principal of the school. Currently, Scott is the International Student Coordinator for the Medicine Hat Public School Division.
Scott strongly believes students should be actively involved in all aspects of school atmosphere and models this through his love of coaching and involvement in extra-curricular activities. Scott coaches the Football and Track & Field Teams at Medicine Hat High School.
As an athlete, Scott competed in Track and Field at the varsity level and national level. He represented the University of Saskatchewan and Minot State University in High Jump. Represented Saskatchewan at the Jr National Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec in 1993.
Scott is married to his lovely wife Ashley and have a beautiful daughter named Peyton.
