Meet Mr. Cho

Hi Middleton families and students,

I am the STEAM teacher at Middleton Elementary School in Skokie School District 73.5. I am so excited to be a part of the welcoming and caring community of students, staff and families. This is now my 15th year in education. I graduated from Wheaton College with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Biology. I also received my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Benedictine University. I have been a 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher, and was most recently a Gifted Education Coordinator and specialist in Mundelein District 75.

While I have truly enjoyed my time as a classroom teacher and specialist, it was really my 12 years as a Robotics Coach in FIRST Lego League and VEX Competitive Robotics and my years as a STEAM programming coordinator that led to my journey here to the STEAM teacher at Middleton! I love to be creative, whether it is with building with Legos, tinkering with new technologies or coding. Most of all, it is my passion to work with young students every day and to guide all of my students to discover their own strengths and passions through discovery! I am grateful to be able to learn alongside all of the students, staff and families here at Middleton as we navigate through the amazing world of STEAM!
