"Love Where You Learn"

Please become familiar with our Stage 2 Return to School health and safety plan. We welcome your questions and look forward to seeing our students in September!

STAY HOME and call 811

  • Parents must assess their children daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, Covid 19, and other infections or respiratory disease before sending them to school. If any symptoms are present children should not be sent to school and families should call 811 and seek medical advice.

  • If students develop symptoms at school, they will be immediately moved to the isolation area. Parents will be contacted to pick the student up immediately and advised to call 811.

Students and families at SIMS have access to MyEd BC. Here you can find real-time information about academic progress.

HOW TO FIND INFORMATION

British Columbia has a redesigned curriculum, which means that we are also redesigning how we assess and report on student progress. This school year Points of Progress will be published in December and March. A summative report will be sent in June.

Saltspring Island Middle School is an amazing community of learners, serving Grade 6-8 students in the southern Salish Sea.

We are innovative, inclusive, and energetic. We believe in kids.

We believe in the future.
