Students interested in this program must meet with a Career Teacher to development a personal education/transition plan and complete all appropriate application and registration forms.

The Joinery / cabinet making program is focused on furniture related skills and knowledge, but also cover aspects of the cabinetmaking and millwork trades. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills necessary for entry into the furniture design, construction or finishing/refinishing industries.

The Fine Furniture/Joinery program is a full-time, 10-month program offered at the Interurban campus, starting in September each year. Classroom theory is combined with intensive hands-on experience, so students can develop relevant skills and knowledge for employment. At the end of the program, each student will design and build a final project that will be showcased in a public gallery.
