About me

Teacher in Santa Clara Unified School District for 19 years, high school and middle school experience in diverse positions. Classes are student-centered, collaborative, always evolving, crafted by learner interests. I thrive on learning and love a good challenge, there is always a new app to master. With desire anything is possible, nothing is 'hard' it just may be 'new'.

I live in Morgan Hill with my husband, Mike, married on June 29, 2019. We have four fur babies.. Simba a 5 year old (May 2014) male cat, Jamba a 4 year old (April 2015) female cat, Journey, 2.5 year (April 2017)dog, and Poppy a 4 month (April 2019) kitten!! During my commute to Sunnyvale, which is often one hour each way, I listen to some wonderful podcasts. The Rich Roll Podcast (my current favorite), Feel Better, Live More with Dr. Rangan Chatterjee (Four Pilars of Health), Google Teacher Tribe with Matt Miller and Kasey Bell, Curious Minds with Gayle Allen.
