THEODORE JUDAH STUDENT SUPPORT CENTER
Sunaina Sondhi, MSW, ASW, PPSC
School Social Worker
Hello, Theodore Judah community! My name is Ms. Sunaina, (prounounced "su-nehn-ah"), and I will be staffing our Student Support Center on Tuesdays at Theodore Judah during the 2024-25 school year.
I'm now in my sixth year of school social work and completed my graduate training at University of Southern California where I specialized in children, youth, and families, obtaining a Master of Social Work (2017). I have an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. I was born and raised in Houston, TX after my family immigrated from northern India. A product of public schools myself, I believe strongly in the rich educational experience students can receive in inclusive settings where children and youth feel represented and psychologically safe.
Though services at our school are limited in scope due to having a social worker on site once weekly, my overall mission is to support learning conditions that foster a student's sense of belonging so that they can thrive academically and socially.
