1. Watch the video “What is Edpuzzle” to get an overview of the application.
2. Please review these directions to verify that a YouTube video is allowed on a student Chromebook.
IMPORTANT: Our Lightspeed filter is applied when students log in at home on a Chromebook. Just as in the classroom, teachers should verify that YouTube videos, regardless of how they are assigned (Google Classroom, an email link, Edpuzzle, etc.) are allowed before assigning them to students.
4. Watch the video “How to create a class on Edpuzzle” (1:30). Then use Google Classroom to create your classes.
5. Watch the video “How to find a Video” (1:43). Then search for a video on a concept that you are currently teaching.
6. Watch the video “How to Edit a Video with Edpuzzle” (2:00). Then edit the video that you choose in #3.
7. Watch the video “Assign an Edpuzzle video lesson to your class” (2:42). Then assign the video that you edited in #4 by sharing the link in Google Classroom.
8. Watch the video “Grading or providing feedback for an Edpuzzle” (2:07).
10. Watch the video “How students review feedback and comments” (1:48).
11. After you have completed steps 1 - 8, record your PL on the SCSS Professional Learning Documentation Form.
