Creating a bibliography with Edu Pro

Both the bibliography and citation features are available with the Edu and Edu Pro plans, although they vary slightly.

The annotated bibliography is available only with the Edu Pro plan.

When an online source is added to the Scrible Library, information about that source is extracted and saved. Because some websites and databases interact differently with Scrible, we recommend verifying the citation information before leaving the page.

Empty text boxes are highlighted in pink.

Information needed for the works cited or bibliography can be viewed and edited from both the sidebar and the library.

Edit/view citations in the sidebar

Citation information is easily viewed and updated from the sidebar.

  1. For annotated bibliographies, enter the information in the text box under Citation Annotation at the top.

The number in the top right corner is a word count tally, in case the assignment has a word count requirement for the annotated bibliography.

A preview of the citation is shown at the bottom.

  1. The citation style can be changed from the dropdown here.

  2. To copy this citation to the clipboard, click on the copy icon here.

Citation information is easily updated from the Edit Citation box that appears.
