Choose the Outline tab in your library.

Click on + Create or drag an annotation from the Add from Sources sidebar to begin your outline.

Using the context menu for subpoints

If your outline includes subpoints and sub-subpoints, use the indent icon from the context menu.

The return key defaults to the next number or letter in the same section.
