Please register NOW! It takes time to complete the registration process and to enroll students. Demand will increase closer to the beginning of school. If you wait, your child(ren) may not be able to attend Open House or start school on the first day.

No, new student registration is for students who are not currently enrolled in the Screven County School System. If your child attended school in Screven County the previous school year, you do not need to register them.

Yes, you can save and return to your application as many times as you need to. However, after you submit the application, you will not be able to edit it without contacting Holly Boykin at the Board of Education.
VERY IMPORTANT: When you start your application, make note of your application number! You will need it to return to your application.

If you do not have access to a computer, you may come by the Board of Education at 382 Halcyondale Road, Sylvania, GA to pick up a paper registration packet. During the summer, our office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 to 4:00. During the school year, our office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 to 4:00.

Certified Birth Certificate
Social Security Card
Georgia Department of Public Health Form 3300
Current Georgia Immunization Record
Proof of Residency: A current utility (water, electric, or cable) bill with a 911 address or current rental lease can be accepted as proof of residency.
Proof of Guardianship (if applicable)
You can upload these during online registration or bring the by the Board of Education at 382 Halcyondale Road, Sylvania, GA. During the summer, our office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 to 4:00. During the school year, our office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 to 4:00.
