CAS activities

Different activities with 10th grade students in the CAS course.

Lego Bridge Challenge

This challenge consists of building a bridge with Lego pieces. The bridge must be able to resist the weight of 2 medium-sized stones.

Elevator Challenge

The challenge consists of creating an elevator using a robotics kit, then using programming to define the elevator's movements and accomplish the specific requirements of the challenge.

Egg Drop Challenge

The challenge consists of dropping an egg from a great height, so that the egg is not damaged, a container is designed with specific materials such as plastic straws and masking tape. The students have a limited number of materials so they must propose a structure capable of protecting the egg from the impact of the fall.

Board games

In this activity, different board game were made on the Creative Space laser cutter. The students painted the boards and installed them on the Lower School tables leaving the games available for use by their classmates.
