As an annual tradition, the first event of Homecoming Spirit Week is the Homecoming Dance. This year, from September 12 to 19, students are encouraged to participate in the daily themes. Picked by the student council, the themes in chronological order are:
9/12: Neon
9/15: Matching Monday
9/16: USA Day
9/17: What the Wednesday (anything weird/out of the ordinary)
9/18: Surfers (Tropical) v. Bikers (Black/leather)
9/19: Red & Black (Wear your Panther pride!)
On Wednesday, September 17th, an assembly will be held to introduce and advertise the Homecoming Court. These ladies will be running for Homecoming queen. Keep your eye out for great advice! May the best win.
On Saturday, September 20, the last but definitely not least exciting event in Homecoming week is the dance! From 6-10 pm, in the high school cafeteria, the dance will take place with great music, food & drinks, and vibes. A common tradition among students is getting ready beforehand with friends and taking pictures at a scenic location or filming some TikTok or Instagram transitions. Tickets are no longer available. Dress your best!
On Friday, September 19, near the end of the day, our seasonal pep rally will take place. The pep rally is meant to gain hype for sports and the football game that night and recognition for the. It’s also meant to showcase our sports, and the cheerleaders have a routine planned.
Our Panthers will be facing Pequea Valley, 7 pm @ Home. The theme is all black. During halftime, they will walk down the field with their escorts or family. Then the voting results will be announced and the queen will be crowned.
You can get to know your Homecoming Court for the 2025 year. These lovely ladies have lots to share before the assembly on Wednesday, 9/17.
Check out their Q&As and see their headshots. Thank you for taking time to answer all our questions! Good luck in the voting.
