Sports Highlights

Coached by Bruce Harbach, Schuylkill Valley finished with a 9-3 overall record and 1st outright Section Title in school history. Last year, the Panthers were caught in a three-way tie with Lancaster Catholic Crusaders and Annville-Cleona. In their rematch against the Crusaders, they unanimously won the Lancaster-Lebanon Section Champions 40-29. The boys won their District 3 3A Quarterfinal, 55-13, against the Littlestown Thunderbolts. They lost their 8-game win streak in a close overtime thriller against Trinity in the District Semi-final, 17-20. Quarterback Logan Nawrocki ran the show this season. The 6’1", 170-pound senior is the school’s all-time passing leader with 5,109 passing yards. He threw 37 TD passes this season.

Our boys' cross country finished 6-3, standing at 1st in their division. The following players received post-season awards:

• Matthew Maciejewski – All Division Honorable Mention

• Henry Schwendeman – All Division Honorable Mention

Our girls' cross country finished 7-2-0, standing at 1st in their division. The following players received post-season awards:

• Mabel Walborn – All County

• Isabel Consuger – All Division Honorable Mention

The field hockey team finished 4th overall in their division at 5-13-0. The following players received post-season awards:

• Keira Stork – All Division

• Logan Muller – All-Division

• Brooke Angstadt – All-Division

• Taylor Riggins – All Division Honorable Mention

• Erin Walsh – All Division Honorable Mention

The following players received post-season awards:

• Brody Dejesus – All-Division

• Connor Huggard – All-Division Honorable Mention

With Chris Geddio serving as head coach, the Panthers finished 8-8-1 overall and 3rd in their conference. The following players received post-season awards:

• Benjamin Ostrowski – All Division Honorable Mention

• Carson Reali – All-Division Honorable Mention

The girls finished as Division Champions with an overall record of 16-3-0. The following players received post-season awards:
