Class of 2024 Homecoming Court
Lexi Seymour
The Pantherette would like to introduce Lexi Seymour, an outstanding senior on this year's homecoming court. Lexi lives with her parents and two dogs Duke and Savvy. She has one older brother who is a sophomore at Penn State. Lexi is very passionate about sports and is the captain of the soccer team and diving team. She runs long distance during track season and you can find her running the occasional invitational during the cross-country season! She is very involved in her community and at the school, she’s a part of nine clubs! Lexi is the vice president of the National Honors Society and participates in PYEA, Leo, Mental Health Matters, Jesus Club, SODAA, SV Ambassadors, Yearbook, and Jazz band. After graduating from Schuylkill Valley she plans to attend a four-year university to get a Bachelor’s degree of science in nursing. Once she completes all her schooling she is going to be a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist). The top two colleges Lexi is currently looking to attend are Penn State and York College of Pennsylvania. In her free time, you’ll find her journaling, playing piano, making bracelets, and hanging out with the people she loves! Excited to be in the 2023 Homecoming court she leaves everyone with this positive message, “Remember to be kind to everyone. We all make mistakes and we need to give each other grace.”

Jenna Kirby
Jenna has a unique personality she is funny as well as has good chemistry when it comes to musicals for example she always has great choreography when she is performing. I have known her for two years now not closely but I was in a musical and realized how cool and unique she is as a person. What made Jenna decide to sign up to be on the homecoming court? Also, what would it mean to her to be nominated as homecoming queen? First joining the homecoming court always has been a dream of her’s ever since she was a kid. Indeed at Schuylkill Valley since kindergarten, she has been here ever since. Clubs that she participates in include girl soccer, swimming, softball, band, chorus, Valley Voices, PYEA, SODDA, and Leo Club. In her own words, she shared with me “Yes I always dreamed of being on the court, but I never thought of it being reality”. Themes and the way she goes all out with how she is dressed is her favorite homecoming activity. Educational goals that interest her are going to college to pursue a career in occupational therapy, specifically pediatrics. Time commitments are in the fall(soccer) and (softball) in the springtime. Are any of her friends on the homecoming court; Yes!” I love all the girls on the court, but I am so glad my best friends Madi Steingraber and Annie Gao, and by my side for this fun experience. Overall Jenna is an outgoing enthusiastic senior with many inspiring thoughts. Jenna I know I don’t know you that well but from what I heard and what I know I can definitely say that you are a shining star each and every day and you never give up no matter what life throughs at you and I want you to remember that as you are out on that field. Finally, I wish you the best on the homecoming court and your future as well.

Kayley Weidner
Kayley has been at Schukillvalley since Kindergarten. At school, she is involved in three clubs. She is part of PYEA, the National Honors Society, and FFA(Future Farmers of America). Being nominated homecoming queen would be such an honor and pleasure to become homecoming queen. It’s so shocking and amazing to her to be one of the eight girls on the homecoming court. When I asked her what her favorite homecoming activity is; she likes to participate in spirit week. In addition, she likes seeing all the themes and people participating. Furthermore, after high school, there are some education career goals for herself, her career goal is to get her real estate license. Also, there are some time commitments that she has in the fall and Spring. So in the fall soccer, in winter time she does wrestling, then work time in the spring. Additionally yes she does have friends on the homecoming course and the cool part about her friends is she grew up with them how cool is that? In conclusion, I want to say that Kayley is an overachiever I have known her for 3 years and she always has a positive attitude, and Kayley I want to thank you for helping me with any questions that I did not understand and also for being a kind person. Don’t care if others let you down you are u and no one can change that have a great homecoming experience I wish you the best on that court.
