Empowerment Townhall

This event was organized by students from PGC Student Mentors, Student Government, Leadership Class and Council for Unity. Sessions were held in both English and Spanish. The goal of the Empowerment Town Hall was to provide a safe space for students to have meaningful conversations on topics they deem important. Moreover, students collectively came up with solutions and ideas on how we can strengthen our Hillcrest Community. These ideas and suggestions will be shared with the Principal and Assistant Principal so they can be reviewed and discussed further.

Kelly Deng, Junior:

"The Student Led Town Hall meeting was such an amazing and informational meeting that strongly empowers student voices. It is a safe space for students to share their thoughts and feelings towards the topic.

Jeremy Smith, Senior:

"For me, the town hall was informative. Even though I was leading the townhall, I also learned a lot through thorough discussions and group suggestions and ideas being put together."

There will be future town hall meetings in March and May! Make sure to join and have YOUR voice heard!
