Who is the Better Paul Brother?

    The Ohio brothers started on Vine in 2013, transitioning onto YouTube so they can grow their fame and fanbase. Logan Paul started YouTube in 2013, mainly posting vlogs and funny content. Jake Paul started YouTube in 2014, posting vlogs, challenges, and pranks. Both became very popular for their loud personalities and challenges they would do. While they make similar content, the real question is who’s the better brother? 

   As their fame began to rise, so did their jealousy for each other. In 2017, Jake Paul founded Team 10, a content house to build the team 10 brand which included Alyssa Violet, Tessa Brooks, Anthony Trujillo and other close friends. A year later Logan Paul created the Maverick house which involved his closest friends and team members. Both brothers creating content houses started to create a big shift between them, leading to their rivalry. This sparked the question, “Were you a Jake Pauler or a Maverick?” At Hillcrest High School, 12th grader Martin said, “I was a Maverick because when I was growing up I watched Logan Paul a lot more. I also just think that Logan Paul was just a lot cooler and Jake Paul was just goofy.” Many other students that were interviewed were also Mavericks. 

   Most Youtubers have been through their fair share of being cancelled, whether it’s for something they’ve done or said. When asking our fellow peers “Who’s more controversial?”, 12th grader Fryda said “Logan Paul is more controversial because of when he found the dead body in the forest during his Japan trip.” However, some people felt Jake Paul has sparked a lot more controversy compared to his brother. 12th grader Keli said “I think Jake Paul is more controversial because of his boxing. I think a lot of people believe that he was rigging the fights which I think brings a lot of controversy to him. He also chooses to fight questionable people like retired fighters and older people.” It's no secret that these brothers are no strangers to controversy, even going as far as making diss tracks to keep the drama going.

   Now, to ask the most important question that everyone has been wondering about; who made the better diss track? Logan and Jake Paul's diss tracks on each other brought a lot of attention to themselves and had people picking sides on who’s the better brother and who’s diss track was the best. When asking students, 12th grader Angelina said, "Jake Paul’s team 10 song was okay and kind of catchy, but Logan Paul when he came at Jake and brought out his ex girlfriend Alyssa Violet. Logan clocked his tea real hard and gagged him, so I'd definitely say Logan Paul’s diss track was better.” After many interviews, it’s clear that Hillcrest stands with Logan Paul. While they may have been more popular during their 2017 era, their impact on the YouTube community will never be forgotten.
