What is "Queen Never Cry"?

Recently, all over the internet and social media a panel from ‘The Ki Sisters” on WEBTOON has been taking the world by storm! The Ki Sisters creator Bumbae has reacted positively to their webtoon going viral by retweeting tweets on twitter. However, people ask “What is Queen never cry?”, “Who is the Queen that never cries?” My partner and I asked ourselves these questions, so we decided to start an investigation.
The viral panel is of a mother and a newborn baby, the doctors give the woman her baby, who wails for attention. The mother with a stoic expression whispers to the baby “Queen never cry.” In response, the baby stops crying and displays the same stoic expression as their mother. A lot of people in Hillcrest have seen a variation of this meme, mainly as a redraw of the panel tailored to whatever fandom they are in. So, we decided to ask.
Skylar Menegis stated that, “This is lowkey inspiring. The baby has a sense of self control at a young age.” However, David Anderson disagrees with that statement. “The baby is too young to know what self control is, nor how to deal with it.” He spoke with drastic hand movements.
Just like numerous trends, once they get popular, they die down. This did have positive impacts on the Ki Sisters webtoon, boosting the views and making it a somewhat popular webtoon. As some people claim this is unfunny, at least the creator Bumbae is basking in the small fame that is Queen NEVER cry.
