Wanting or yearning to do something to pass the time by in his high school days, he joined cross country. There, he fell in love with running. Later on he would join track, and was on the team for four years. Later in life his tank would run empty, and he traded running for music. During the era of covid-19 his gas tank was filling itself back up. Now with more freetime, he picked back up his running shoes and started sprinting again. One year later he was running marathons. He has a strict diet and watches everything he eats, which could and probably be one of the reasons he can run so well. He started running marathons and gave it his all, putting his body on the line to surpass his limits. Not only did he become a great runner, but he surpassed his own expectations. A week ago, he beat one of his own records by running a 10k marathon in a little over an hour, a personal best and a moment he will never forget. When asked if he would give up teaching to become an olympic runner he said “right away, I love running.” A love he once traded became his everything.
