Classes reviewed ways people would use the computer and brief history of how computers have changed since 1946. 

Students have discussed how to evaluate a website based on how the information is presented, how factual it is, and how useful the site could be.

Students have started learning typing skills to help prepare for the State Computer Based Test (CBT) later this year.

Students started working with Scratch programing. Some of the basic commands they have used are motion blocks and changing the backdrop of their scene/stage.

Continue to work on typing skills and had final in class practice session on how to use "tools" for the Computer Based Test (CBT) this coming April-June.

Started working Scratch Coding on creating scenes with movement, speech bubbles and editing backgrounds.

Continued work with Scratch Coding on creating jump commands and creating maze scenes.
