About Mr. Flynn

Hello PS 85!  I was born and raised in New Jersey and I currently live in Yonkers, NY. Growing up I always loved playing sports and in high school I decided to focus on baseball.  I was lucky enough to earn a scholarship to play baseball in college at Hofstra University and after college I got to play professional baseball with the Washington Nationals.  Once my playing career ended I still wanted to be around the game so I became a college baseball coach and coached at Manhattan College and Cornell University.  Now as a physical education teacher my goal is to help all of my young students develop the love for playing sports and being active that I got to enjoy as a kid!

See you in the gym!
