Purpose:
The test is designed to identify students struggling with reading. It is NOT meant to be the sole measure of making eligibility or placement decisions.
What is it?
Measures the ability to recognize printed words accurately and efficiently
Measures current reading skills by identifying the number of printed words a student can recognize within 3 minutes
